COVID-19 Showcasing America’s True Needs

April 19, 2020 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is dominating the news these days. These are certainly thought provoking and challenging times.

The Coronavirus plague in America has exposed the soft underbelly of America’s security and prosperity. Most Americans falsely believed that our security and economy were invincible. Many are stumbling and grasping for answers as to how to respond to this major challenge.

Our nation’s response to this unexpected and invisible enemy has separated families, divided grandchildren from the grandparents, prevented physical church gatherings, cancelled thousands of events, and ceased regular education. It has even confined people to their own homes like house arrest.

These draconian restraints while temporarily endurable can’t become permanent. We must be alert and diligent.

Like a thief in the night this unseen enemy sneaked in among us and achieved the unthinkable. It’s wounded the American economy and reordered our priorities in a matter of weeks.

Is this pandemic a wake-up call to America as a whole? Certainly. Is it a trumpet alert to God’s people? Absolutely! How will we respond to this divine wake-up call?

Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “COVID-19 Showcasing America’s True Needs”.

Blessed is the Man

April 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms.  It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death.  Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today.  It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man.  Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.

God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions

March 31, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Bryan Osborne

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Bryan Osborne (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.\ Ever wonder how old the earth actually is? Is it thousands of years old or hundreds of millions of years old? Ever wonder when Genesis talks about a day if that day is a 24-hour day or a 24-million-year day. Does it make any real difference?  Asking questions is a practice the Lord Jesus did routinely in response to His skeptics with the purpose of exposing their sinister unbelief yet always leading them to the truth. Jesus loved to also answer legitimate questions as posed by His disciples.  In the appropriate fashion and for the right reasons we’ll pose some questions. Not to question God though doubt, but to ask questions to better understand what God has done, said, and who He is.  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.
