One of the consequences of the ongoing COVID-19 policies are the limitations on nursing homes where parents and grandparents may be living. The preventing of family members from visiting has on one hand some substantive reasons when it comes to the spread of any virus. On the other hand (unique to any other time in history) this separating of loved ones from the elderly at such times in their lives may in fact be producing scenarios that are more harmful than helpful.
