Understanding Biblical Authority: God’s Antidote for Rebellion - Part II

June 21, 2020 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Paul Blair (Pastor, Founder of Liberty Pastors) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.

The understanding of authority (moral, civil, military, and spiritual authority) by its very nature is essential for societal order and purpose. No military can function without clear lines of authority. No government can function without clear lines of authority. No family, business, or community can function without having clear lines of authority; with defined duties, responsibilities, and established fences and boundaries.

These definitions of what is permissible are called laws and rules. The breaking of these laws and rules demonstrate a stepping over the line or a jumping over the fence. When that happens there is a consequence. The greater the violation, the greater the consequence.

The question is not whether a person, community, or nation will encounter laws, rules, or learn an understanding of duties and responsibilities. The question is simply, whose rules and laws? Whose truth? What duties and responsibilities?

While the concept of authority is obvious and in reality quite simple; the proper understanding of authority and response to it is profound. It is also the greatest principle missing from American culture, the American pulpit, and the one principle being exploited by those seeking to destroy America and freedom around the world.

Join us as we look at the topic “Understanding Biblical Authority: God’s Antidote for Rebellion”. In this second of a two-part program we’ll continue looking at authority. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.

Blessed is the Man

April 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms.  It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death.  Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today.  It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man.  Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.

God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions

March 31, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Bryan Osborne

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Bryan Osborne (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.\ Ever wonder how old the earth actually is? Is it thousands of years old or hundreds of millions of years old? Ever wonder when Genesis talks about a day if that day is a 24-hour day or a 24-million-year day. Does it make any real difference?  Asking questions is a practice the Lord Jesus did routinely in response to His skeptics with the purpose of exposing their sinister unbelief yet always leading them to the truth. Jesus loved to also answer legitimate questions as posed by His disciples.  In the appropriate fashion and for the right reasons we’ll pose some questions. Not to question God though doubt, but to ask questions to better understand what God has done, said, and who He is.  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.
