It can and does happen where the church starts to look like any other group or organization in this world but that isn't what God had in mind when He established His body, the church. We are a people distinguished by truth and characterized by love. The church is special to God and we must be on guard to protect what God has established while remembering to walk in truth and love. Truth, which we have through the indwelling of God's Spirit, and love, the unifying glue for the community of Jesus-followers. This is what Jesus taught and this is how we are called to live. Come on out this Sunday and consider what it means to be part of the church, the body of Christ."
