Do you like suffering? That’s an odd question! None of us like to suffer; I don’t want to suffer and I want life to be fair; and yet, if Easter teaches us anything, it is that life isn’t fair even for the best, and there appears to be no way of avoiding suffering in this world. Now what if there was a reward to be attained through suffering, would you take it? Join us Easter Sunday as we consider what this meant first for Jesus, and now for us.
When Jesus walked on earth the people were challenged with a dilemma: accept and Follow Jesus, or reject him; when pressed hard for a decision the crow chose men that were aggressive and powerful over the Jesus who loved and suffered willingly for the sake of his enemies. Whom do we choose when pressed hard? Join us Good Friday as we consider the options.
Join us this Sunday as we prepare for a BIG EVENT in our Church! This Sunday, MARCH 17, our very own Pastor David will be ordained! Conference Pastor of Care & Missions, Kelly Lesser, will be there to lead this, and share a message with us. Afterwards, immediately following the service, we will be having a FELLOWSHIP POTLUCK to continue the celebration! Regular attenders, please bring a hot dish, salad or dessert to share! Bring extra for guests coming for this special morning.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Al Kehler comes out and speaks on entertaining angels and other strangers..
Pain hardship and suffering are a given part of life for all of us; but there is encouragement: in following Jesus, we don’t face hardship alone, and we’ll need to carry the pain Jesus carried for us. Are you walking with Jesus already? Join us this Sunday to worship and consider how Jesus is offering deliverance from sin.
Introducing, the Suffering Messiah! We all love a good heroic story, but is heroism possible without the presence of brokenness and suffering? If the Glory of God means we have to go through suffering first, do we still want to see His Glory? Join us this Sunday as we begin our journey to Easter in Isaiah 53.
