You always have something to give! It may not seem like much, but God is able to do more than we can think or imagine. As we continue to learn about generosity, we read an amazing story about a widow who gave everything she had.
Jesus is the greatest example of someone who gave. Because Jesus showed us how to give, we can learn how to give to others. We close out our month on generosity in 1 John 3:16-18 where John reminds a group of believers about Jesus’ love for them.
Giving isn’t about what you give, but how you give it. God loves when we give with a good attitude! This week at Kids Connection we head to 2 Corinthians 9:7 where Paul is writing to the church in Corinth to teach them about giving.
Sometimes the best gifts in life don’t come wrapped. We know that God gives us good things because Jesus is the best gift we’ve ever been given! We start this month of generosity in James 1:17a where we learn about the good gifts God gives us.
