09. Lessons From Living Through Revival

August 9, 2021 • Steve Uppal, Lydia Marrow

In this week’s episode, I’m happy to be joined by Lydia Marrow of Shake the Nations Ministries.

Acts gives us a glimpse of what daily life following Jesus looks like. We gravitate to coldness and deadness - so we need revival to close the gap between our experience and the book of Acts. Brownsville was a revival of holiness. The Bay revival brought miraculous signs following the preaching of the gospel. Both were much needed to close the gap.

Lydia reflects on her time in Brownsville, Pensacola in the 1990s and the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival from its start in Alabama from 2010.

I am so excited to bring to you in the coming weeks the Revival Podcast. In Habakkuk 2:14 it says “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” History has many staggering examples of God’s Spirit moving across communities, regions and even nations in Supernatural and powerful ways. Through this podcast we will explore what Revival is, how it works and what we need to do to position ourselves for the next move of God. Join me and my guests through-out the next few months have a candid conversation on the subject of Revival.

01. Revival Podcast: Revival Is Coming

April 19, 2021 • Steve Uppal

The purpose of this series is to: awaken desire, look back at what God has done and look forward to see how we can co-labour with the Holy Spirit. In this episode, I, Steve Uppal invite you into my world. I will set the scene of my journey and fascination surrounding revival since my childhood as well as share some of my favourite revival stories spurred on by some of my faith heroes (James Hudson Taylor, John Wesley and William Booth.) Then, we delve into looking forward; exploring how we can prepare for what God is doing, co-labouring with the Holy Spirit.

02. Revival Podcast: Revival Prayer

May 3, 2021 • Steve Uppal, James Aladiran

In this episode, I am joined by my first guest of the podcast, James Aladiran of Prayer Storm. Prayer is the starting point, the main pathway to prepare for, or pull in, what God intends. It leads to changes in our lives but consecration without prayer/intimacy with God leads to legalism. The relationship is the starting point. Come along with us as we discover the connection between prayer and revival. Prayer Storm is a movement of worship, prayer and fasting which exists to provoke a spiritual awakening by raising an army of praying warriors, find out more: http://prayerstorm.org
