Life has a way of creating traps and putting us into those traps in such a way that causes us to feel powerless. In those moments, our joy disappears because we no longer are moving forward in life. God designed us like everything else in the world, to grow and to move forward continually. When we feel trapped in life and locked into sameness, we lose our victory and our joy can seemingly disappear.
