#3 - Good Shepherd

Singing the Sacred

July 25, 2021 • Pastor Andrew Hamilton • Psalm 23, John 10:11–14, Revelation 7:17

This upcoming week our topic is chapter #11 of Core52: Good Shepherd; and we’ll be studying Psalm 23. Psalm 23 is by far one of the most popular psalms written by King David. It’s a Psalm most often recited at funerals to provide comfort for those who mourn. But if you really dive into the depths of the Psalm, it’s a lesson on Biblical Leadership. This Sunday, we’ll be unpacking what it means to be a leader and how God may be preparing you for a leading role in helping to expand his kingdom.

#5 - Jesus Rejected

August 8, 2021 • Kyle Nettestad • Psalm 118:22

This week is the last in our Singing The Sacred Series of our Core 52 study. This Sunday our topic is chapter #13 of Core52: Jesus Rejected; and we’ll be studying Psalm 118:22. Psalm 118:22 is the prophecy that Jesus would be rejected. This Sunday, we’ll be unpacking how the rejected Jesus is the cornerstone.

#4 - Jesus Messiah

August 1, 2021 • Pastor Andrew Hamilton • Psalm 110

This upcoming week our topic is chapter #12 of Core52: Messiah; and we’ll be studying Psalm 110. Psalm 110 is all about the Messiah. It’s a little known fact that Psalm 110 is quoted more in the New Testament than ANY other passage! This Sunday, we’ll be unpacking how no other individual in history fits the description we read about in Psalm 110.

#2 - Prophecy

July 18, 2021 • Pastor Andrew Hamilton • Psalm 2, Revelation 19:15–16

This weekend, we’ve got an exciting combination of worship & teaching planned for you and your family! As we continue in our series Singing the Sacred, our Core52 topic is prophecy and we’ll be studying how ALL of the Biblical prophecies point us to Jesus! Did you know there are literally dozens of major scriptures that predict Jesus as the coming Messiah? The probability of Jesus fulfilling just 7 of the more than 60 major prophecies is overwhelming! Our core text for this upcoming Sunday is Psalm 2 and our key memory verse will be, “I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.”
