"We're a family. I mean, we gotta take care of each other," said Brian Stewart, Anglican Relief and Development Fund's (ARDF), Director of Domestic Disaster Response. More than two months since Hurricane Helene, Anglicans continue to support each other by actively providing all manner of assistance to the devastated areas of the western Carolinas and Tennessee. In this video, we learn of how Anglican churches in the epicenter of the flooding responded and how churches, individuals, and organizations worked together through this disaster.
But there is much work still be done. It will take years for some communities to recover, but through organizations like ARDF, the communication and coordination needed to properly connect the needs with the desire to serve will make the process easier. Learn how your church can serve, contribute, and bring the love of Christ to these affected areas.
