During George Washington’s first inaugural speech, he said, “No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the People of the Unites States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of Providential agency.”
Over 200 years later, we know that Washington was entirely right about the guiding hand of God in our nation’s founding and continuing to this day. But what do we know about our nation’s presidents and the godly precedents theyt set, particularly in the early years of our nation’s history?
Our guest on this program, Tim Barton, President of WallBuilders, is going to give us some insights into why the Presidents did what they did-facts and stories you’ve probably never heard of.
So, if you’re ready to be reminded about why and how God blessed this country stay tuned for this next hour of Stand in the Gap Weekend.
