Wednesday, May 25, 2022 - The 'Hate What God Hates' Series: It's a Choice

May 25, 2022

Transcript:
Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. The Bible makes it clear. Loving God and hating evil’s a choice. Matt 6:24 says, no man can serve two masters. We’ll either love the one or hate the other. You can not serve God and the world. Loving is evidenced by serving. We will serve what we love. Amos 5:15 says we must choose to love the good and hate the evil. God is clear. We can’t have it both ways. If we say we love Him, our lives will show it. We’ll be convicted when we sin. We’ll purposely run from evil and not sit in the presence of sin. Do you love God? Does your life show it? Do you hate evil? Does your life show it? God knows and those around us will too. Will you Join with us at stand in the Gap radio and TV in loving what God loves and hating what God hates. Let us know at American Pastors Network dot net

Signs of the Time Series: Encouraging Signs

May 3, 2024

Transcript: For the unbeliever, the events of the last days are frightful, painful and full of death and judgment. But for the Believer, evidence of the last Days guarantees Christ’s soon return and His soon reign of Christ on earth for a thousand years. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. This week, we’ve looked at the some of the ways God has called us to respond to the signs of the last days. Scripture calls us to be prepared, to live with joy, to have an eternal perspective, and to share our faith with others. First Thessalonians 4:18 ends a section of Scripture discussing Christ’s any-moment coming. How does it conclude? Paul writes, “Therefore encourage one another with these words.” The signs of the times are designed as a warning for unbelievers and those living in sin, but they are an encouragement for those of us following the Lord. Signs of the Time Series: Witnessing More

May 2, 2024

Transcript: When is the last time you have shared how Jesus changed your life with someone else? For many of us, it has been far too long, but Scripture challenges us to talk about our new life in Christ even more as we face the last days. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As the apostle Paul addressed the struggles he faced, he taught in Acts 20:24, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Paul was changed from darkness to light and was willing to share his faith with others. God may place someone in your path today who needs to hear the story of how you have been changed, and how God can change them. Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.

Signs of the Time Series: Looking Up

May 1, 2024

Transcript: Do the negative headlines and actions around you get you down? If so, you’re not alone. Many feel troubled by the cares of this life, but Scripture offers a different response, teaching us to look up for Christ’s return. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. In Revelation 22, the apostle John concluded his heavenly vision of the last days. He saw both the coming judgments and the ultimate outcome of Christ’s coming, along with the new heavens and the new earth. What was his response? He said, “Come, Lord Jesus!” As believers, we can face the struggles of the last days with an eternal perspective. Why? Because we know our final destination! Don’t live in discouragement today. Look ahead, like John, to our future home in heaven. We may face discouragement, but God is with us, and will be with us for eternity. Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.
