New Beginnings Series: In The Beginning God

Transcript: As we approach a new year, think of new beginnings. Genesis chapter 1 says, “In the beginning, God”. There’s no better to place to start than in the beginning, because only God was there and only God is the beginning. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer, with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute urging you to start this year with God. If you don’t know Him personally– accept Jesus now as Savior. If you’ve trusted Christ as Savior by faith alone, are you living in obedience – 24 hours a day? Are you serving Him with your whole heart? Is He your highest priority? Are you living your life purposely and intentionally for Him? Is Christ first in your thinking, choices, actions and worship? January marks a new month and a New Year for us all. Transcript: What if in this New Year we lived our lives fully grasping the power of our identity in Christ as His Children and accessed the power of His Spirit in our lives? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. It’s been said a person can live thirty days without food, three days without water, but only three seconds without hope. Hope’s the internal drive that leads us to believe there’s something better in the future. As children of God we have an exalted identity in Christ. We’re empowered by the Greatest Power through Christ. We’re also driven by the greatest hope, knowing we have eternity with God our Father the Lord of heaven and earth. Let’s not permit ourselves to become discouraged, distracted or deceived into believing there is no hope. I John 3:3 reminds us our hope is in the Lord. Transcript: Our theme for this first month of 2025 is “New Beginnings”. Gen. 1 says, “In the beginning was God”. The Apostle John in chapter 1 says, “In the beginning …was the Word.” Both God and the Word were in the beginning, because “the Word was with God because the Word was God!” Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer, with the American Pastors Network and another timely Stand in the Gap Minute urging you to start this year understanding that Jesus Christ – is the WORD - all God - all man. He’s the Creator, the Redeemer, the Judge. He’s the beginning and the end! He made us. He loves us. He died for us that we might live. But He’s also just-- - King of Kings. Transcript: Tomorrow a new year begins…A new beginning. Genesis chapter 1 says, “In the beginning, God created…” You see there’s nothing in this world- people or things - that God did not create – heaven and earth, sun and moon, yes human life itself, and above all salvation and new life with Christ – all created by Him and for Him. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another timely Stand in the Gap Minute. As we enter a new year let’s look around and be reminded that all we see, touch and feel was created by God alone .. in the beginning. And if all creation sings His praise, shouldn’t we praise Him too and thank Him that He is the God of new beginnings? Singing praise to God starts with recognizing Jesus Christ as Creator God.
