Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is a command in Scripture. Recognizing the Creator God as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That through Israel and the Jewish people would come the Messiah (the redeemer of all mankind) and living in the fear of God and obeying His commands is the duty of all mankind.

Yet, as we know from the rebellion of Cain in the garden, there are some who fear God and keep His commandments and there are those who rebel like Cain, Nimrod, and so many through history.

Yet, God’s promises are clear. In Deuteronomy 28 He states that if Israel and any nation would fear God and keep His commandments, then God would pour out blessings beyond description. But if the people or nation rejects God in pride and idolatry, then God would pour out His judgment in such fury that all the blessings would disappear and judgment would come so fast that it would literally overtake the people. Therefore, if blessings are desired we will fear and obey.

The Man Who Feared God and Turned Away from Evil

In Hebrews 11 (The Hall of Fame of Faith Chapter) God gives us the names of many people, but references far more without names in this life who by faith are known by God only. We can and should be encouraged to live by faith though only God may know. For it is in the end when we stand before God (perhaps known by no one else) we can hear the most desired words any believer can ever hope to hear. Well done good and faithful servant. In this program we will look at the life of Job. His experience is something with which we can all identify with in part. Hope in the Midst of Persecution

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Shaheryar Gill (Attorney, American Center for Law & Justice) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 and other places that rather than the exception, true believers in Jesus Christ who live Godly will experience persecution. For many generations America and generally the West have experienced a unique reprieve, a divine intervention of God’s protection as He raised up America in its early to be a shining city on a hill. A holy experiment to demonstrate to the world that a nation who feared God and follow His commandments could experience the divine blessing of God. But we realize that in America things are changing very quickly. The only category of people that seems to have no protection are Christians who open their mouth to publicly demonstrate their commitment to Christ. The governments are becoming more hostile by the day. Thankfully God has raised up some legal teams who have an expertise and can argue for truth in courts of law.
