We live in a time of decreasing trust. Decreasing trust in institutions and even in ourselves. Despite having more knowledge and more technological progress than at any time in human history, we live in a time of increasing uncertainty. What we need more than anything is wisdom.

Using Francis Collins' recently published book, THE ROAD TO WISDOM, we will explore how four key constructs – truth, science, faith and trust – can guide us on this road.  Join us as we explore how we can live out Jesus exhortation, "You are the salt of the Earth...you are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-16).

About the Facilitator: Dr. Patrick Bell has over 30 years experience teaching topics at the university level at the nexus of government, security and technology. He has consulted with governments at every level from local to international. Patrick has also been an active member of the United Methodist Church for over 40 years, including being a lay leader in South Florida and member of church councils in Florida and the United Arab Emirates.
