Key Thought: Goats are thought of as willful, ornery, unpredictable creatures; sheep are thought of as dumb, smelly, helpless creatures. The world’s choice isn’t God’s choice. 1. It’s not bad to be a sheep—compared to being a goat! 2. This passage condemns a sin of omission more than a sin of a commission! But both are unacceptable to God! 3. When we as God’s children minister to others, it is if we are ministering to Jesus Himself! 4. Let us seek to be sheep! For there are too many goats in this world!
