The typical format for fasting on this day looks like this -

1. Begin your fast at bedtime Tuesday night with anticipation and encouragement to trust that God will be present with you.

2. Utilize your lunch hour by joining the church, in-person or from afar, in prayer at noon Wednesday.

3. Finally, break your fast in celebration at suppertime Wednesday.
