We celebrate Father’s Day as a way to honor our fathers, and father figures, for their love, support, guidance, and sacrifice. More often than not, dads are the pillars of hard work and dedication, playing an important role in families and society. Dads represent strength and duty, while also exhibiting care and dignity.

God's design for dads mirrors our Heavenly Father's heart when our dads love us, protect us, or sacrifice for us, Mat 7:9-11. A good father teaches, corrects, and guides his children. The Bible teaches that God’s discipline is compared to a loving father’s correction — not punishment out of anger, but guidance for growth, Heb 12:7-11.

Not only will the church celebrate Father's Day with a small treat, let's also be reminded to tell him the things that should probably be said more often.
