The 55+ ministry is excited to welcome Pastor Jake to share his journey of faith and what it means to keep saying “yes’ to Jesus. Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring hearty shredded pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and more.  Pastor Jake will then share part of his inspiring story, where he would be the first to tell you that obedience to Jesus often requires stepping forward without seeing the whole picture. Pastor Jake has walked through the high and lows of ministry, and high and lows in his faith. You'll hear about the moments of deep joy, the seasons of struggle, and the time he thought he was done with pastoral ministry altogether. Thankfully, we now know that God had a different story and Pastor Jake wound up at Good Shepherd. ... Through his story, Pastor Jake will explore what it means to keep saying "yes" to Jesus, even when the path isn’t clear, and how God’s faithfulness meets us in the unknown.
