Medicare 101 Workshop

WHAT: Everyone’s Medicare situation is unique, and Medicare’s enrollment periods can be complicated. The goal of the workshop is to help you make informed decisions prior to enrolling or after you have enrolled in Medicare. If you think it is too late because you are already enrolled – stop, look, and listen to what you may not know. 


WHO Should consider attending: People who are: 

-New to Medicare

-Caregivers

-Already enrolled or about to be enrolled in Medicare insurance 

-Seeking to understand and get help with an Annual Prescription Review 

-Care about someone who is approaching Medicare or retirement? 

-Currently employed and not sure how Medicare works with your employer insurance? 

-Concerned about your parents and have questions about their Medicare coverage? 

-Confused about what you need to do and when?

 

WHY: This workshop will explain:

-How Medicare works

-The enrollment process

-How to avoid penalties

-Ways to save money

Fellowship Room at Liberty Christian Fellowship, lunch is provided.

This workshop will be conducted by Mike Eubank, a certified Medicare Counselor with the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) with the NC Department of Insurance.
