Do you feel called to be equipped for the work of ministry?
Do you want to discover God and His work for you in a deeper way?
Do you desire to understand more of the Bible when you read it?
Come discover how Masters College & Seminary (MCS) can help you understand God in a serious and meaningful way while equipping you for calling He has for you.
The purpose of this event is to:
- bring and connect the current MCS students in Quebec;
- give prospective students a taste of what MCS has to offer;
- invite pastors in Quebec to learn about MCS, discover the “Church Hub” model and how to start a Hub at your church.
There will be two mini classes offered at the same time by MCS faculty who will be here in person. A provided lunch will follow the class with a period of question.
Class 1: “Prophetic Discernment in an Uncertain World”
Pentecostals have long affirmed charismatic prophecy—the belief that God empowers His people to speak to others. But how can we discern whether a message is truly from God? In this class, we will explore the Old Testament foundations of prophecy and consider healthy, biblical practices for prophetic discernment.
Class 2: “Wealth, Poverty, and Justice in God’s Kingdom: Insights from Luke’s Gospel"
For Luke, “repentance” is far more than a casual Sunday apology. It calls for a complete upheaval of the status quo. To follow this path is not merely to act generously; it is to be willing to undergo a total collapse of social and financial ego.
“Woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.” — Luke 6:24
If these words feel threatening, that is because they are meant to be. Luke is not offering comfort to the secure; he is demanding a transformation that requires surrendering the very things we rely on for safety and identity.
