1. Read and review the EFCA Statement of Faith/ Article 6:

We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.

2. Read John 16:5-15. According to this passage, what is the Holy Spirit’s role in relationship to the Son?

3. Look up the following short list of passages: Genesis 1:2; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19. In each passage what is the affirmation that the Holy Spirit is a person of the Godhead (the Trinity)?
