I grew up In Roanoke Virginia in a loving Christian home with both parents and four brothers. In high school I became bored in church and youth group so I began to go down a different path. Throughout college and early adulthood, I was steeped in the ways of the world. All appeared well as I advanced in my career and accomplishments but inside, I felt empty and weary of my lifestyle. Then someone invited me to join a Bible study group. As I began to read and study God’s word, I quickly experienced a dramatic transformation and fell in love with Jesus. Soon afterwards, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and experienced a new level of excitement in my journey.

Eventually I was inspired to lead Bible study groups for women not attending church and to disciple women of other faith backgrounds. I also became active in different facets of the church including some administrative assistance for my Pastor. Along the way, I developed a passion for prayer and I am thankful to participate in the prayer ministry here at Cornerstone.

Years later, while living in the Charlotte area, I met my husband T. I finished thirty years of sales and management in the consumer packaged goods industry and joined him in his organic products business. From the beginning we discussed our mutual dream to live in a rural mountain town. For several years we sought God on his plans for us and in 2021 he led us to Jonesborough. I had been a long-time supporter of Andrew Wommack and that connection is how we learned about Cornerstone. It quickly felt like home. We love the leadership and the people here. I am extremely honored and excited to share with out women at the upcoming Christmas luncheon.
