People often think that they've "made it" when they've accumulated much wealth and possessions. The latest gadgets, trendiest of fashions, and newest cars are what we think we need to have a good, complete life. But Jesus reminds us that ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ'๐ด ๐ญ๐ช๐ง๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด๐ช๐ด๐ต ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฃ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ด๐ฆ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด (Luke12:15). God invites us to think beyond our wealth and possessions and look at how we are living the life He has given us. Today, let's ask ourselves three questions that can help us reflect on our perspective on life and our possessions.

Jesus told us why we don't have to be anxious about our needโour heavenly Father provides for, clothes, and protects all other creatures without them having to toil or spin. How much more us, His children? Through this reminder, Jesus Points us to truths we can live by: God created us, and He will provide for us. In God's eyes, we are valuable, and our heavenly Father knows what we need even before we ask (Matthew 6:8). How does this truth help you today?

What we seek after will consume our thoughts, hearts, and actions. Jesus said that the alternative to being anxious is to seek after God's kingdom. We don't seek after wealth and possessions because God will provide everything we need and more. It's a done deal. We can be secure in God and find the fullness of life in Him. According to Luke 12:32-33, what are some of the ways we can show that we seek after God's kingdom?

Jesus pointed out to His disciples that ultimately, what we invest in is what we will value. Where we put our treasures is what we will value and be more passionate about. When we invest in advancing God's kingdom, that is what our hearts will treasure. The fruit of our investment will never perish. What does Luke 12:33 reveal about the proper perspective of followers of Christ?
