Faith

Faith

Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You
Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You

Jesus, You’re God
You died on the cross
My sins You’ve taken
You know my wrongs
The things that I’ve done
That’s why You died
And I believe I’m in need
In need of Your saving
So, every day, I trust in You
‘til heaven

Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You
Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You

Pressing in
Expectations high in our God Almighty
Cause You don’t lie
Your word is true
I’m so glad You’ve shown it to me
I stick to You through everything
Through all my trials
There’s better things in heaven above
Your Kingdom awaits

Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You
Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You

Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You
Faith, sure of what we hope for
Faith in You

Nothing Less than All of My Heart

Josephine Mary Schmidt

Nothing Less than All of My Heart God, You are Creator, Author of life You love Your works and all Your children But there was hate, with its evil and its lies You are forever faithful, holiness on high Keep ourselves in the glory of the Lord Keep ourselves in wonder and awe You are amazing, my God And You deserve nothing less than all of my heart You heal me, and You free me From a power, way too strong Let me live forever grateful Oh, what joy from death to life There is nothing than can compare Yet, how often we try But You keep on loving me And You promise for eternity Can I really see? All that You have prepared for me Keep ourselves in the glory of the Lord Keep ourselves in wonder and awe You are amazing, my God And You deserve nothing less than all of my heart You heal me, and You free me From a power, way too strong Keep me pure, eyes on You All I do, please You Cast away all my hate Nothing evil thrill me © Josephine Mary Schmidt

Break Me Down

Josephine Mary Schmidt

Break Me Down You came to them But Thomas didn’t want to believe them He didn’t know what to think So, You brought Your risen self again to them You breathed Your Spirit onto them And told them, “Blessed is he who believes without seeing.” Oh, Lord, that’s me! And every corner of my life I want You to Master And every thought and every word I want You to capture, capture me Tell me how to be strong when I’m weak Hold me, hold me, when I struggle The compromise; it comes sweet The compromise; it comes easy, to take me But You know the way Light my way, making our way to the heart of You, Jesus And You know my heart and what’s missing I ask You to break me, break me, break me Break me down Don’t let me win Discipline me now You come to me when I seek Speaking truth and asking me to trust in You Not in the wisdom of mankind But be transformed by the renewing of my mind Don’t be conformed to this world Put my faith, put my faith, in You Put my life and all I do In the power of You, God And You know the way Light my way, making our way to the heart of You, Jesus And You know my heart and what’s missing I ask You to break me, break me, break me Break me down Don’t let me win Discipline me now Cause You are my life Show me what’s right Breathe Your Spirit onto me Oh, let it stay upon me Don’t let me go Don’t let me die from Your side Cause You know the way Light my way, making our way to the heart of You, Jesus Don’t let me win Discipline me now Making our way to the heart of the You, Jesus To the heart of You, Jesus To the heart of You, Jesus Break Me Down You came to them But Thomas didn’t want to believe them He didn’t know what to think So, You brought Your risen self again to them You breathed Your Spirit onto them And told them, “Blessed is he who believes without seeing.” Oh, Lord, that’s me!
