The writer of Ecclesiastes describes life under the sun as vanity, futile, full of toil, and wearisome... this definitely does not seem like the most positive outlook on things as we begin a new year! However, while Ecclesiastes might appear discouraging or confusing on the surface, it is surprisingly full of good news and hope! Join us for an 8-week study on this Old Testament Wisdom book. We will learn strategies on how to read and understand Old Testament poetry. More importantly, we will work to understand and practice how to rightly respond to the truths of God in our anxiety, discouragement, and confusion about the brokenness of the world. Each week of Women's Bible Study will include individual homework, small group time, and teaching time.
