As previously shared by Scott last year, Scott and Becky Lycan planted Antioch Boone in January 2018 with the aspiration of nurturing leaders to pass on their responsibilities in the future. The time has now arrived for that vision to be realized. Hunter and Hailey Rhodes have demonstrated unwavering faithfulness, availability, and teachability as servants at Antioch. Their journey began with college pastoral ministry, and they have since been appointed as our Associate and Worship Pastors. In the early Fall of 2023, our church elders and regional advisory board unanimously endorsed Hunter’s advancement to the Lead Pastoral role. A transition process has been underway since then, as Scott and Becky Lycan pass the baton of Lead Pastor to Hunter.

We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion, which marks a “multi-generational mantle-passing” ceremony at our Commissioning Service on Sunday, April 6th. Our Antioch regional leader, Steve Jellicourse, will preside over the event.
