Paul now closes the epistle with some final words of instruction and personal greetings. The whole idea of the letter is restated in the closing and could be summed up by, “Love others more than yourselves because you stand in Christ Jesus.”

The last chapter is pragmatic and personal, and so we will use these two descriptions as the headings in our outline.
