MARC MONTE
SENIOR PASTOR FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH
in Danville, Indiana
Pastor Marc G. Monte was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After accepting Christ at the age of 13 he was enrolled into Fourth Baptist Christian Day School. Pastor Monte was greatly influenced by his boyhood pastor, Dr. Richard V. Clearwaters. Pastor Monte earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible in 1989 (Summa Cum Laude). He graduated from Pensacola Theological Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Ministries degree. In addition, he was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2005 for work related to exposing the dangers of radical Islam in America.
At age 21, (1988) he accepted his first pastorate with Forestview Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina and served as their pastor for 4 years. He then became Assistant Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Robbinsdale, Minnesota for 5 years. He presently serves as Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Avon, Indiana since 1998. He teaches regularly on the college level and is an adjunct faculty member of Pensacola Theological Seminary.
Pastor Monte and Kelli have been married for 29 years and have two sons, Thomas, who is serving in the United States Air Force and Matthew, who is currently in law school.
