Today Pastor Phil continues in Philippians, with Part 1 of his message, "Joy in The Lord".

Pastor Phil tells us that Joy in The Lord can only come by abiding in Jesus. Clinging to Him, and fixing our hearts, minds and spirit to His and His Word. Lord help us to hold fast to Him!

May we reflect on the high calling He's given us to be His ambassadors here on earth.

The Book of Philippians was written by the Apostle Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome, likely around 61 or 62 AD. It is one of the four 'prison epistles' that Paul penned while in captivity. He counted it a joy to allow God to work everything for his good—even imprisonment. This epistle teaches us the secret of having joy in a less than perfect world.
