“‘Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth..”

The enemy thrives through talebearing…. sometimes in our thoughts or even through words spoken to us.

There are different elements of disunity that can arise in a marriage. One of which is talebearing. This is when the enemy spins stories about our spouse to us that portrays them in a bad light.

It could be someone coming physically, or through a phone call or message to tell a story that would fuel your distrust for your spouse.

Or it could just be the enemy concocting negative stories of your spouse in your mind. You’ve got to shake them off with the word of God!

There’s a scripture I heard of and then found recently. It is in Jeremiah 31:22 ‘How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man’

Every wife would need to compass her husband and not let any element of disunity scale through their home.

The Lord give us understanding as it applies to us in Jesus' name. Amen

Prayer Moment

● Lord, I submit my home to you today, please remove every element of disunity in my marriage in Jesus name.

● I confess that without you, I can do nothing. Sometimes, I want to have my way, please help me to recognize and reject in my home in Jesus name. Amen
