This class is a pre-requisite for children to be baptized at First Woodway. As we believe that baptism is an outward symbol of an inward decision to follow Christ, and based on the material covered, this class is for kids who have already accepted Jesus into their lives. In addition to baptism, we will discuss what being a Christian means, worship, how children can begin to grow in their Christian walk, and more. This class is specifically for children in grades 2-5, and kids must be at least age seven to be baptized. The class begins at 5:00 pm on select Sunday evenings in Room 116, and parents join at 6:00 pm for the final 30 minutes of class. After class, you will be able to choose your child’s baptism date and service time. You can reserve your child’s spot for any of our scheduled dates here. The deadline to register for class is the Tuesday prior to the scheduled class.
