We will be using Kay Arthur’s Precept upon Precept bible study guide of the Book of John. This will included the book of John to mark up, questions to answer, and cross references to look up. The “homework” will take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes a day. We will then come together to share what we learn. In this study we will use:
Observation: See precisely what the Bible says about Jesus’s life and public ministry on earth.
Interpretation: Explore the meaning of these passages in the context of Scripture.
Application: Discover what truths you can apply to your personal life as you learn what Jesus and His disciples experienced in their relationships with God.
In the first 10 weeks we will dig deep into the details of John 1-11 and discover how God ministered to His people at that time. We will seek to know Jesus as the Son of God and learn what he says about Himself. From beginning to end, John reveals Jesus as the Son of God. In the next 8 weeks we will dig deep into John 12-21. Here, Jesus draws His disciples aside to prepare them for what is to come and we will learn about His death, burial, and resurrection, and their significance to your salvation.
