Baby Dedication is a scriptural practice (Luke 2:22-33). Following the scriptural example of Jesus, during our Baby Dedication Service, Pastors Sean and Erica Moore pray and lay hands on each and every child pronouncing the blessing of God upon their lives. Middle and high school students are invited to join us for a fun Spring Break bowling night as The Degree partners with LSC YTH (Living Streams Church – Phoenix)! We’ll be hanging out at Bowlero for a night of bowling, games, food, and community with students from both ministries. Bring a friend and come ready for a great time together. Join us for a powerful morning of prayer as we walk and intercede over our city, our church, and the future God has spoken over this land. On Saturday, March 21, we will gather for a Prayer Walk along McDowell Road between 24th Street and 32nd Street, praying intentionally over the neighborhood and declaring God’s promises over the CTS vision and the Stretch Limousine prophecy connected to this land. This is more than a walk—it is a time to pray, cover the community, and align our hearts with what God is doing in this season. Participants will sign up for guided walking groups, each covering a specific route: FCC to 24th Street FCC to 32nd Street Each group will depart at staggered times beginning at 8:00 AM, with additional groups at 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 9:30 AM. As we pray together, we will declare the prayer of 1 Chronicles 4:10, asking God to bless the land and expand the territory He has entrusted to us. We invite men and women, families, and anyone with a heart to pray for our city to join us. Come ready to walk, pray, and believe together for what God is doing in our community. Connecting with a strong faith community is vital to your spiritual growth and development. Faith Christian Center is a place where you can grow and thrive in your walk with Christ. We are committed to helping you become who God has created you to be, and we will strive for excellence in our service to you. Attend the Membership & Volunteering Class to learn about membership and the culture of Faith Christian Center (FCC). You will also receive training on what every member and volunteer can expect while serving at FCC. This one-session class is a requirement for every new member to become a volunteer. We look forward to having you join us. Attend class in person on the 2nd and the 4th Sunday of each month. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:19) Water Baptism is a biblical command given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Water Baptism is an act of obedience that is subsequent to the New Birth experience. It is an outward sign of the inward grace of salvation. It represents that we have died to sin and self, and we now live new lives in Him. Being a member of Faith Christian Center is not required to participate in Water Baptism. Water Baptism is available for those 7 years old and older. All participants are to attend the service they are registering for, including children and youth. Registration closes on March 29th.
From May 29-31, The Degree Youth will be converging upon Prescott Pines Camp in Prescott, AZ, for a weekend of fellowship, worship, teaching, unplugging, and refocusing. Charter buses will depart FCC at 1 pm on Friday, May 29th, and return at 4 pm on Sunday, May 31st. Registration is $350 per youth. Any youth between 6th grade and graduating senior is welcome to attend.
