In 2007, the Chapman family (Alan Chapman, Karen Benjamin, son Jake Chapman, and daughter Molly Chapman) first performed together as the Von Chaps (a name inspired by the Von Trapps of The Sound of Music). 

In December 2019, they embarked on a 19-city concert tour of China, performing a combination of Broadway, classical, jazz, and pop. On March 22, they bring their special musical arrangements and their signature four-part vocal harmony to Leo Baeck.
