The King and The House of God

Salvation and The Second Coming

Yeshua’s journey up to Jerusalem leads Him through a city called Jericho. There He encounters a very rich man who goes through a great amount of difficulty to simply get a glimpse of Him. Yeshua used this man to communicate an understanding of salvation that people had in His day. Yeshua also shared a parable to correct the misconception that had been developed in the minds of the people around Him from His teaching on the Kingdom’s immediate physical establishment. Eternal Life and Faith

Yeshua was asked this question by a certain wealthy ruler, “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” Yeshua’s response to the ruler came from the Law of YeHoVaH. Contrary to popular teaching, the subject of eternal life did not originate in the New Testament, but was a subject of concern prior to the advent of Yeshua. Eternal life, life eternal, and everlasting life became synonymous with salvation by New Testament writers and Believers. Is Yeshua’s answer to the rich ruler the same as He would give today? Forgiveness, Faith and Healing

What Is it Going to Take?

Lost and Found

What does it mean to be lost Biblically? Can people be lost, yet engaged in godly, religious, and/or spiritual activity? Being lost while engaged in Biblical activity can give one the sense that they are in right standing with the Creator while in fact being separated or disconnected from Him. At its core, the foundation of Messiah’s Ministry focused on seeking and saving the lost. Workers of Iniquity

Yeshua’s life, lifestyle, and Ministry provoked opposition from a variety of people from the king to the common man. From the news of Messiah’s birth, the visit by the Magi and the killing of the males two years and younger, to the cries for His crucifixion by the religious leaders and the people, and the plotting of Messiah’s death, cast an ominous shadow over the people He came to save. In this portion of Luke, Yeshua is asked a question on a few being saved and then warned about a plot against His life. A Kingdom Worldview

A worldview is the fundamental cognitive orientation of an individual or society encompassing the whole of the individual’s or society's knowledge and point of view. A worldview can include natural philosophy; fundamental, existential, and normative postulates; or themes, values, emotions, and ethics. In this passage, we will be exposed to the various worldviews of those Yeshua spoke to in order to correct them and give them a Kingdom Worldview. Discerning the Times

Yeshua’s interactions with His Disciples in the midst of the multitude addressed various Treasures of the Kingdom. While teaching His Disciples, He also addressed the multitude who listened to His teachings and transitioned to speak on the signs of the times. Yeshua touched on being watchful, service according to the Master’s will, giving an account, and Judgment. In this portion of Luke’s Gospel, Yeshua gives additional insight on His advent and mission, making it clear what He came to do. Yeshua also shares the consequences of His coming, the family division that His teachings would bring, and the proper response to discerning the times. Treasures of the Kingdom

Yeshua’s Ministry focus was consistently on teaching His Disciples about the Kingdom of YeHoVaH in the midst of the company of thousands of people following Him. In this portion of Luke, the treasures of the Kingdom are the subject of Yeshua’s teaching as He warns His Disciples about the hidden leaven and secret teachings of the Pharisees. Kingdom treasures abound in Yeshua’s messages and in this teaching we will uncover several treasures of the Kingdom that Yeshua reveals to His Disciples from the provisions of YeHoVaH, to the work of the Holy Spirit, and the dos and don’ts of Ministry.
