YeHoVaH provided a variety of incentives and motivations that covered every aspect of community life for all who had wisdom to see the importance of keeping His Commandments. Listen in as YeHoVaH instructs Moses to share the benefits, motivations, and blessings of obeying His Law to the Children of Israel and those who joined themselves to the Commonwealth of Israel. The Holy and the Profane
November 10, 2022 • Arthur Bailey • Leviticus 22
YeHoVaH’s dealings with His Creation had much to do with their response to Him and His Commandments. The Holiness of Our Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and King of the Universe was established from the creation of man and reaffirmed amongst the Children of Israel. To guarantee, honor, and keep the presence of the Most High in their midst, the people of Israel and the Priests were to be holy and not profane or defile themselves. In this portion of Leviticus, YeHoVaH further instructs the people and the Priests how to maintain differences between the holy and profane. In preparation for the study The Holy and the Profane, please read Leviticus 22:1-33.
The 28 Blessings of Deuteronomy 28 Part 3
July 14, 2022 • Arthur Bailey • Deuteronomy 28:1–14
YeHoVaH reveals the secret to prosperity in Deuteronomy 28. Deuteronomy 28:1 captures the prerequisite of True Biblical Prosperity. The blessings are for those who obey the Commandments of YeHoVaH, and the curses are for those who disobey. The people had incentives to do the right thing and be blessed. The people knew what YeHoVaH expected of them, there were no surprises. In Part 3 of this 4 part series in Deuteronomy 28, YeHoVaH continues speaking to the nation and also to the individuals within the nation. Blessings 11-13 are discussed. 11. Dt 28:6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in 12. Dt 28:6 And blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 13. Dt 28:7 YeHoVaH shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. In preparation for the study of The 28 Blessings of Deuteronomy 28 Part 3, please read Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
Crucify Him
February 5, 2022 • Arthur Bailey • Matthew 27:1–26
In the teaching, The Prophet and The Word on Trial, we witnessed the flagrant display of lawlessness, abuse of authority, and inhumane treatment against the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. All of the abuse levied toward Yeshua during an illegitimate facade of a trial was at the hands of the religious leaders who were supposed to be YeHoVaH’s representatives, their armed guards, and the crowd of people. We witnessed several of YeHoVaH’s Commandments being violated by the so-called Torah observant Law-abiding religious leaders that disqualified them from operating in their religious capacity. In this teaching, the illegitimate facade of a trial continues. After a guilty verdict by those overseeing the farce of a trial, Judas recognizes what he has done with devastating results and the trial proceeds to another stage in the conspiracy of the religious leaders. In preparation for this teaching, Crucify Him, please read Matthew 27:1-26.
The Book of the Covenant
July 29, 2021 • Exodus 24
After giving the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel and the mixed multitude assembled with them, the people became so afraid of the thunder and lightning, trumpet blasting, and the mountain smoking that they trembled with fear, stayed at a distance and began to withdraw from the presence of the Almighty. It was at that point the people exclaimed that they preferred to talk to Moses instead of having YeHoVaH speak to them. Moses ascended up the mountain of YeHoVaH and began to receive and write down the instructions given to him in a Book to give to the people. YeHoVaH gave Moses a variety of instructions for the people to govern themselves as a community and a holy nation. The people had declared that whatever YeHoVaH told Moses to tell them, they would do. YeHoVaH declared to Moses what He would do on behalf of the people if they obeyed His instructions. These terms and agreements were all captured in what is called The Book of the Covenant. In preparation for the study, "The Book of the Covenant", please read Exodus 24:1-18.
