Sabbath Service: Fishers of Fish
September 12, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 21:1–14
At the onset of Yeshua calling His disciples to follow Him, He informed them that He was going to make them fishers of men. As fishermen who made a living catching fish, they should have understood what He was saying to them, but seemingly they did not. Yeshua taught them many other things that they apparently were unable to comprehend at the time. This led the disciples on a path of unbelief and doubt. Several weeks after Yeshua's resurrection and appearances to His disciples, they had returned to their former way of life. Join us as Yeshua reconnects with His disciples on the shores of the Sea of Tiberias. Yeshua gathers them again after they return to fishing for fish after retreating from the call to be fishers of men. In preparation for the message, Fishers of Fish, please read John 21:1-14
Sabbath Service: Messiah's Ministry After the Resurrection
September 5, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 20:24–31
Like cancer slowly draws life out of the human body, doubt and unbelief eats away at the lives of believers in the body of Messiah today. Doubt and unbelief paralyzed the disciples of Messiah after His death and burial that rendered them useless for the work of ministry for which Messiah had spent His life preparing them. A week after His resurrection, Yeshua continued His ministry work to confront doubt and unbelief in them and to reinstate His disciples who had abandoned Him after His apprehension in the Garden of Gethsemane. Join us as we witness Messiah's ministry a week after His resurrection as He appears again to His disciples and proves to Thomas that He has risen from the dead. In preparation for the message, Messiah's Ministry After the Resurrection, please read John 20:24-31.
Sabbath: Messiah's Resurrected Ministry
August 22, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 20:10–18
After the resurrection, Messiah Yeshua must now provide infallible proof to His disciples that He has actually resurrected despite teaching them that He would. The refusal of several of His disciples to believe the report of the women required Messiah's ministry to continue after His passion. For the next forty days, Messiah sets out on the mission of showing Himself first to the women, to the eleven, and many others in order to convince, equip, and prepare them for the courage, strength, and leadership they would need to take the Gospel of the Kingdom to the world. Join us for the third phase of Messiah's ministry in the teaching Messiah's Resurrected Ministry. In preparation for the message, Messiah's Resurrected Ministry, please read John 20:10 - 18
The Resurrection: He Is Risen
August 15, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 20:1–9
The death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua have become the foundation and cornerstone of the American Gospel. The Catholic Church created a Good Friday and a Easter Sunday narrative surrounding the resurrection that the Protestant Church embraced and continued. The modern day Charismatics mutated that narrative into a Resurrection Sunday doctrine. In this portion of John's Gospel, we will expose these narratives for the false doctrines that they are. Based on Biblical evidence, we will reestablish the truth surrounding the resurrection of the Messiah in this teaching, The Resurrection: He Is Risen. In preparation for the message, The Resurrection: He Is Risen, please read John 20:1-9
The Burial of Yeshua
August 8, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 19:38–42
The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world has been slain. Everything written concerning Yeshua in the Law, the Psalms, and the prophets prior to His death had been fulfilled. The next phase of Yeshua's ministry was underway as a secret disciple and a Pharisee go to Pilate to request Yeshua's body for burial. Join us this Sabbath as we investigate the events surrounding Yeshua's preparation and burial in an unmarked tomb, and His confrontation with death that sealed our victory over death, the grave, and satan. In preparation for the message, The Burial of Yeshua, please read John 19:38-42.
It is Finished
August 1, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 19:28–37
Before Yeshua breathed His last breath, or as the KJV states, "gave up the ghost", He made a statement that has evolved into a doctrine whereby many conclude that Yeshua did it all. - What did Yeshua mean when He said, "It is finished"? - What was finished? - Was Yeshua's ministry finished? - Had Yeshua accomplished everything He had come to do? Tune in this Sabbath and get the answers to these questions, and more, as we witness Yeshua's final moments in this dynamic message, It Is Finished. In preparation for the message, It Is Finished, please read John 19:28-37
King of the Jews: King of the World!
July 25, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 19:16–27
The kingdoms of this world are quite the opposite of the Kingdom of YeHoVaH. In the kingdoms of men, the people and subjects of the kingdom are expected to make sacrifices, put their lives on the line, go to war, and shed their blood to protect and demonstrate their allegiance, love, and loyalty to the kingdom and its monarchy. YeHoVaH, the King of Glory demonstrated His love for His people and the subjects of His Kingdom by sending His own Son to die for His subjects. Yeshua, the son of YeHoVaH, demonstrates His allegiance, love, and loyalty to His Father and His Kingdom. Join us in this remarkable and powerful demonstration of allegiance, love, and loyalty to the King of Glory and the people of the Kingdom, in this riveting event in the life of the King of the Jews: King of the World! Please read John 19:16-27 in preparation for the message, King of the Jews: King of the World!
Behold the Man: Behold Your King
July 18, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 19:1–16
Various denominations present our Savior, our King, and our Messiah, the Son of God in splendor and grandeur and rightfully so. Yeshua is all that and more. YeHoVaH revealed to Peter who Yeshua was when Peter proclaimed, "Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living God". This important fact was hidden from the rulers of the world; therefore, it was impossible for them to see Yeshua's true identity. Join me as we discover the hidden truth in plain sight as John reveals Yeshua through the eyes of the religious and government leaders of His day. See what they saw as they dealt with Yeshua as a common, every day, ordinary man and mocked Him as an imaginary self-made king. In preparation for the message, Behold the Man: Behold Your King, please read John 19:1-16.
Yeshua, an Evildoer?
July 11, 2020 • Arthur Bailey • John 18:28–40
Imagine a time when evil is considered as good and good is considered as evil. A time when religious men behave wickedly to preserve their way of life and rebel against the One who gave them life. A time when lies carry more weight than truth and the world seems more in tune with the creator of the universe than those ordained to teach about the creator. These were the days of Yeshua. As Yeshua faces His final trial and is judged as having no fault, the religious establishment and its adherents have already determined the Messiah's guilt and punishment by death. This teaching will expose the hearts of men who hide behind the cloak of religion and view themselves as good, while accusing Yeshua of being an evildoer. In preparation for the message Yeshua, an Evildoer?, please read John 18:28-40.
