Biblical salvation has its foundation and is rooted in the Torah, the Law of YeHoVaH. Contrary to popular belief and religious traditions, the Gospel meaning and message of salvation is firmly established in the Old Testament Book of the Law. However, it is given a totally new meaning to New Testament Christians by their theologians and religious teachers. Likewise, death and the doctrine of the resurrection did not originate in the New Testament, but in the Old Testament.
In this Teaching in Luke 8, Yeshua reveals one of the various meanings of salvation, demonstrates to His Disciples and us His power and authority over death, and illustrates what all believers who sleep have to look forward to: the resurrection.
In preparation for the teaching Salvation, Death and the Resurrection, please read Luke 8:40-56.
