Oct. 3-4 we are going to retreat as a whole church body for the purpose of setting aside a dedicated time to grow in our mutual love of God and affection for one another through shared time in relaxation, the receiving of biblical teaching, and fun activities for the whole family.
Of course, when we say, ‘family camp,’ we are talking about church family; meaning that singles, empty nesters, and full nesters are all welcome.
For those able to stay overnight, Camp Elohim does have 8 cabins for lodging. Four of them will be reserved for the men (and their sons) and four for the women (and their daughters). You are also welcome to bring a camper/RV and stay in that with your family. Alternatively, you may just come up Saturday morning and spend the day with us.
Camp Elohim’s wonderful staff will be providing meals (dinner Friday- breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday). Speaker TBA.
Family activities will include but not be limited to basketball, gaga ball, ping pong, carpet ball, shooting range, ax throwing, board games, ultimate frisbee, zipline, hiking, and possibly a short trip to the nearby Ross Creek Cedars!
We are happy to offer this as a free event, but donations would be accepted.
