We learn from Acts 5 the story of Ananias and Sapphire and how they lied to the Holy Spirit. Peter Called them out for their deceit and the Lord judged them harshly. What if they would have instead, as a godly couple, said "We cannot lie to God!" What if Peter would have just ignored their sin? Accountability is important as believers as shown by God and Peter.
