The Frederick Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered ministry providing residential programs to women/women with children experiencing homelessness; a residential recovery program for men suffering from chemical addiction, substance use disorder, or homelessness; food for those experiencing hunger or food insecurity; clothing, shoes, and personal care items for those in need; and an offer of connection within our community through relationships.

Men's Shelter

Contribute one or more food to the men at the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) Men’s Shelter. Examples of food items include ground beef/turkey, lettuce, cheese, salsa, fruit cups, cookies. Drop off is on a monthly basis. The minimum age is 12 years old.

Shepherd's Table

Serving meals to approx. 100+ men and women at Shepherds Table in Silver Spring. Excellent COVID protocols are in place to serve food with plexiglass barriers. Food is served inside and folks have the option to eat inside or outside.
