It is said that nothing in this life is free. We beg to differ! On Saturday, November 9, we will host our bi-annual give & take event, rain or shine at FBC. This one day event is completely free...not even $.01! Bring a bag and eat your "Wheaties" so that you can carry all your free stuff. "Doors" will open at 8am. This event will be both indoors and out. RAIN OR SHINE! Clothing and books inside, all the rest will be outside.
WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY AT THIS EVENT. We simply do not have the volunteers needed to sort everything as we have had in the past. If you are not a regular attender at FBC, there are many local organizations who would love to take your gently used items. There is a list with contact information below. IF YOU ARE A REGULAR ATTENDER, you can find additional information about drop-off times and details in the usual places or email the office for more info.
You know, there is one more thing in life that is completely free...the love of Christ and His free gift of salvation. All that takes to receive this gift is to follow Him. If you have not heard about this before, we would love to share this with you. Click the website below and find out more.
Ok...so while everything is completely free, in the spirit of giving, we will be accepting donations for our local food bank. Bring something along to bless someone in need and we will see that it gets to them AND for those who would like to support hurricane relief, cash donations will be accepted on site and distributed to those affected by recent hurricanes.
Hope to see you, then!
