We must not forget that being like Jesus must always precede going and making disciples of Jesus. Questions: 1. Why is it that so many people who claim to be sharing Jesus Christ with the world turn out to be nothing like Him? 2. Why must a true understanding of who Jesus is always precede going and making disciples of Jesus? 3. Why do you think most people assume that the people around them are not looking to have a “Jesus conversation”? 4. What relational areas of our lives are most ignored for gospel sharing and why do you think? 5. How can you tell when The Holy Spirit is working in someone else's life? Do you normally engage or ignore it? Explain.

We often wonder if, when, and where God will “send us” to make disciples when He already has. The most consistent opportunity we have for sharing Jesus, and yet somehow the most avoided, is in our own home. Questions: 1. When it comes to sharing and teaching about Jesus, why is our own household usually the first to be overlooked or the hardest to reach? 2. Why does it seem easier to talk to people you don’t live with about Jesus? 3. When being obedient to the call to “Go and make disciples…”, why should your household be the first place you go? Why should our greatest witness for Christ begin in our own home? 4. How different would your household be if Jesus lived there? How is Christ living in you any different? Should it be? Explain. 5. How do your children view your faith and why? How do your parents view your faith and why? What can you do to create a better picture of Jesus in your home?

Questions: 1. What problems do generation gaps create in the world? How could and should the church help? 2. Read 1 Cor. 4:14-16. How would you describe a spiritual mom and dad and why are they important? 3. Read Ps. 78:1-3. What is the biggest obstacle that keeps you from reaching out to those who are younger than you? How about those older? 4. Read Ps. 78:1-4. What is it that you wish the generation older than you knew? What is it you wish the generation younger than you knew? 5. How is someone sharing their family with others an effective faith builder? What is the risk?

Go To Work (03/01/2020)

We will spend almost half of our lives either at work or in school. Jesus called us to "GO… All the time" We are not merely educated and employed, but rather - CALLED to GO. Questions: 1. Why do we look at places we find ourselves (work, school, etc.) as places we just need to go and BE, rather than a mission field? 2. What does it mean to be “called?” What does it look like to be called vs. employed? 3. Why should a Christian be the best employee on the job? 4. Why is the work place one of the hardest places to be a Christian? 5. Read Matt. 22:37-40. What is a practical 1st step YOU can take to LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS while “going” into your workplace or school?

Go to Your Family and Friends (03/08/2020)

The best way we can possibly love our family and friends is to show them Jesus. Questions: 1. What is the hardest thing about living out your faith among your extended family and or friends who are not Christian? 2. Why is perfection usually the expected standard when your family and friends hear about your faith? 3. Have you ever invited your friends and family to know Christ better? How do you do that? How did it go? 4. Why is it easier to just invite friends and family to church than take the time to explain your faith? 5. What kind of follow up do you think is necessary after inviting family and or friends to hear the word and experience the church?

Go Across the Street (03/15/2020)

Point: There are people all around you that really want to believe what you believe but they need to see that you really believe it. Scripture: Luke 10:25-37 Questions: 1. Why is it easy to avoid people in your own neighborhood even though you see them every week? Should we? Why or why not? 2. What does it mean to be a good neighbor? What is the greatest challenge to being a good neighbor? 3. What is the difference between tolerance of someone's life and respect for their humanity? Which would you rather have, tolerance or respect, and why? 4. What is the hardest part about serving people you don’t know that well, or at all, with the love of Christ? 5. What would it look like if Jesus moved into your neighborhood? What would be different/unique? How can you truly challenge that question with personal responsibility to it?
