This is a new experience for Wildwood UMC, but one we hope will help us all find joy in sharing a meal among friends around a table. Your RSVP helps others plan what they will bring, and helps us make sure we have plenty of seating. This is a great opportunity to double the recipe and invite your neighbors to join you!

The first descriptions of the early church include families, friends, and neighbors gathering at tables to share meals, read scripture, and pray together. Meals shared around a table have a way of deepening the kinship we have with one another. It was around these tables that people converted to Christianity, reconciled relationships with one another, and learned what it meant to model their lives after the teachings and behaviors of Jesus Christ.
