This spring in Belize we will begin another construction project. A family of 9 is losing access to their current living situation. The father is unable to work due to illness. The older son and daughter work while going to school to help support the family. Additionally, you will worship alongside Belizean Christians as you meet practical needs for families living in poverty and share the love of Jesus. This team may also distribute food to those in need and pray with local families. If you’re considering your first international mission trip, enjoy construction and making relationships with the local community, Belize is a great opportunity to serve! This trip is open to men, women and teens who are interested in serving thru construction.

To kick off Holy Week, join us in the chapel for a prayer gathering as we walk through the scriptures of Jesus's final week of ministry with guided collective prayer movements led by Pastor Drew, Kammi McGinty, and John Stern. Afterwards, the chapel will remain open for a time of quiet prayer with optional prayer stations around the room to guide your time or remain in your seat however you feel led. Our goal is to draw nearer to Jesus as we prayerfully reflect upon where He went, what He did, and how He is inviting us into His Goods News Mission this Easter season.

Becoming like Jesus involves a whole heart transformation. In other words, thinking the right thoughts and taking the right steps is not enough. The Holy Spirit transforms all the parts of our hearts, not just our thoughts and decisions, but also our feelings and desires. In the Gospels, we see Jesus pursuing the hearts of others with his whole heart for lasting transformation. If we are going to make disciples like Jesus, we need to follow His example of pursuing others’ hearts. To do this well, there are simple skills to learn. In this workshop, you will learn how to draw out someone’s heart by asking questions in order to discover what the Holy Spirit is doing in their lives. Here are the desired outcomes of the workshop: - Get a biblical understanding of the heart. - Develop skills that will help you be a more holistic and Spirit-led disciple. - Get in touch with your own heart and practice pursuing the hearts of others. Listen to Pastor Greg’s experience with this workshop in this one-minute video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcs3b2nuookhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcs3b2nuook Cost: $10 (includes lunch, coffee, drinks, snacks) Location: Annapolis Campus, Rm 237 Plan on being there for the entire time from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. No childcare will be provided.
