Jacob’s life shows us that God’s presence is not distant from our weakness but meets us right within it. Through times of teaching, private reflection, and small group conversation, we will learn from Jacob’s story while also listening for how God is at work in our own.
Jenelle Lemons is the wife of Fr. Cameron Lemons and mother of three teen and young adult children. She holds a Master of Divinity with a focus in Hermeneutics (biblical interpretation) and has a passion for teaching the next generation how to read and interpret Scripture with both integrity and wonder.
Jenelle has taught New Testament Survey courses as an adjunct instructor and currently serves on staff at Bethel Seminary (MN) as the lead administrator for their Seminary for Everyone program. She is also a member of the ACNA West Board of Examining Chaplains and teaches for the Anglican Catechist Training School. With decades of experience in children’s, youth, and adult discipleship, she brings both wisdom, passion, and a shepherd’s heart to her ministry.
Alongside her husband, Jenelle has also lived and served missionally, founding a Christian community house in an under-resourced neighborhood where they engaged in church planting, community development, and racial reconciliation. These experiences continue to shape her vision for the church as a witness of Christ’s love in word and deed.
In addition to her teaching and mentoring, Jenelle is deeply drawn to music and the arts and is grateful to serve as a worship leader in her parish. She and her family make their home in the Eastern Sierra, where they enjoy hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing—and warmly welcome visitors to join them in the beauty of God’s creation.
