Saddle up for CHP's Bluegrass Jamboree on October 16th at 6 PM. Be ready for some toe-tapping bluegrass Gospel music featuring Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers.

Guests will enjoy Moe’s BBQ, hay rides, a full petting zoo, kids’ inflatables, yard games, and a cornhole tournament!

We’re also hosting a Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off with Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice awards, cash prizes, and trophies for braggin’ rights. (There is a separate registration for those wishing to enter the competition: chp.church/cook-off )

Plus a Best Dressed Western Competition with cash prizes across multiple age groups. (See details below)

Schedule:

6:00 PM -- Dinner and Judging begin

6:30 PM -- Alan Sibley & the Magnolia Ramblers take the stage

7:00 PM -- Best Dressed, Chili, and Dessert Winners Announced

7:15 PM -- Cornhole Tournament; music resumes

8:00 PM -- Ridin' off into the sunset (event concludes)

Best Dressed Western Competition Details:

Break out your cowboy hats, boots, denim, overalls, and hillbilly‑bluegrass getup for our Best Dressed Western Competition. Cash prizes awarded in these age groups:

- 5 & under

- 6–11

- 12–18

- 20–59

- 60+

Cornhole Tournament Details:

The start of the tournament will be announced around 7:15 PM. No need to pre-register for teams. We encourage a multi‑generational showdown — Grandparents vs. Grandkids, young vs. old, or mixed‑age teams showing off their best toss. The winning team will be awarded a cash prize!
