Rwanda Mission Trip (Full)

October 20 - 29, 2025

The mission trip to Rwanda in collaboration with Africa New Life is an opportunity to engage deeply with the country’s powerful story of hope, forgiveness, and resilience. By collaborating with a Christ-centered, Rwandan-led ministry, participants will witness the profound impact of education, discipleship, and community development on individuals and communities. This journey allows participants to grow in their faith while fostering a deeper understanding of peace and reconciliation. 2025 will be our first team collaboration trip with ANL, Dr. Edworthy went over in 2025 to teach at their Bible Institute.

The trip schedule is uniquely tailored to the strengths and passions of the team, ensuring that the activities align with both the team’s gifts and the needs of the ministry. Participants will have the opportunity to attend church services in Africa New Life communities, engage with local ministries, and visit Rwandan communities to build meaningful connections. Home visits offer sponsors the chance to meet the students they support, creating moments of deep personal impact.

Immersion into Rwanda’s history and culture is a vital part of the trip. Visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Nyamata Memorial provide insights into the country’s tragic past and remarkable journey of reconciliation. Participants may also spend time at the Women’s Vocational Training Center and a Reconciliation Village to learn about Rwanda’s efforts in fostering unity and economic empowerment. Engaging in the Dream Kids Program and experiencing a day in the life of a Rwandan enriches the trip with both spiritual and cultural growth.

The impact of the mission trip extends beyond the time spent in Rwanda. Participants return home inspired by the Holy Spirit, carrying forward lessons of hope, faith, and reconciliation to apply in their everyday lives. This transformative experience deepens the spiritual journey of participants and strengthens their commitment to serving others.
