Lent Prayer and Fasting

March 5 - April 19, 2025 CST

Lent is a sacred season of reflection, renewal, and preparation leading up to Easter. Rooted in history as a time of spiritual discipline, Lent invites us to draw closer to Jesus through prayer, fasting, and intentional practices of faith. Traditionally, it has been a period for new believers to deepen their understanding of what it means to follow Christ, and today, it remains an opportunity for all of us to refocus our lives on Him. We begin this journey together on Ash Wednesday with a special service at 7 PM, continue for 40 days (skipping Sundays) and wrapping on Holy Saturday (the day before Easter). Throughout Lent, we encourage you to engage in personal spiritual disciplines and join us for our Weekday Prayer Vigil from 5-6 PM in the Prayer Room at the back of the Sanctuary. This year, we also invite you to seek God’s power through our new sermon series "Breakthrough Prayer" on Sunday mornings, asking Him to move in the areas of life where we need His transforming work. Join us as we walk this path together, seeking renewal and deeper faith in Christ!

Holy Thursday at Lighthouse – Registration Closed

This year we will be hosting a special dinner and Last Supper retelling, remembering the last night Jesus spent with His disciples. We ask that you register using the button below to let us know how many to prepare for! Service begins at 6:30pm. There will be no childcare as this will be a family dinner event. Good Friday at Lighthouse – Register for Nursery Childcare

The fateful day, "Good" Friday, when Jesus was brutally crucified though He committed no crime or sin. A blameless and perfect sacrifice. Join us at 7:00pm as we remember the powerful account of Jesus on the cross. The nursery will be available (to those who register) for kids ages 4 & under.

Family Fishing Day

Our Golden Years Ministry is hosting a Family Fishing Day for parents and kids on Saturday, April 26th! They will be providing fishing supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want. They'll be meeting at the church pond here at Lighthouse from 10am to 12pm. Parents MUST attend with their kid(s).

Carter BloodCare Blood Drive
